Measuring progress honestly

Our impact reporting framework

Impact will be reported only when it can be supported by reliable records. Preparing a resource is not the same as delivering it to someone or demonstrating an educational outcome.

Resource production

Track courses, lessons, handbooks, release dates, content revisions, and scholarly-review status.

Reach and engagement

With privacy-conscious analytics, track aggregate page visits and downloads where measurement is enabled and data quality is understood.

Actual service delivery

After program launch, record materials sent, approved activities, volunteers trained, and documented partner engagement—without exposing personal information.

Learning and feedback

Use optional, privacy-respecting feedback and review exercises to improve resources; report outcomes only when reasonably measured.

Readiness and next steps

Building for responsible service

  1. Verify Illinois incorporation, governance documents, and applicable charitable and tax requirements.
  2. Establish organizational financial controls and appropriate privacy and record-retention practices.
  3. Arrange qualified educational content review and documented revisions.
  4. Confirm correctional-facility policies before any materials or correspondence are sent.
  5. Begin consistent, clearly dated public reporting once programs are operational and activity can be verified.
Status notice: Organizational approval, federal tax-exempt recognition, donation eligibility, volunteer enrollment, and correspondence-service availability must be verified independently. Nothing on this page claims that these milestones have already been achieved.
