Transparency & Accountability

Akh World Da'wah Foundation is developing educational and community-outreach initiatives. This page explains what we have prepared, what remains to be established, and the standards we intend to follow.

Current organizational status: Illinois incorporation was reported as pending at the time this page was drafted. State approval, federal 501(c)(3) recognition, and charity-registration status have not been independently confirmed. This page is not a representation of tax-exempt status, and online donations are not being accepted through this website.

Governance & oversight

Board responsibilities Planned policy

We intend to maintain written bylaws, documented meetings and decisions, responsible financial oversight, and a conflict-of-interest disclosure process.

Program approval Planned policy

New programs should have a designated supervisor, approved budget, written operating procedure, and safety or institutional approvals before launch.

Board composition, governance documents, and approvals will be disclosed once verified and appropriate for public release. No unverified director names or credentials are listed here.

Financial stewardship

Before requesting contributions, the foundation intends to put the following measures in place:

  1. A financial account held in the organization's name and separation between personal and organizational funds.
  2. Documented spending authority, receipt retention, bookkeeping, and regular board review.
  3. Written handling and acknowledgment procedures for restricted gifts and donor communications.
  4. Verification of Illinois charitable-solicitation requirements and accurate disclosures regarding federal tax-exemption status.
  5. A process to share meaningful financial and program updates when reliable figures are available.
Donation status: No payment or donation collection is active here. The foundation has not represented that donations are tax-deductible.

Privacy, safeguarding & responsible communication

Respect for private information

We intend to collect only what is needed for an approved service, restrict access to authorized personnel, and establish secure retention and deletion procedures before accepting applications or sensitive records.

Safeguards for incarcerated learners

Any future correspondence program must comply with the specific facility's mail and publication rules. We will not ask visitors to send inmate identifiers, legal case files, or health information through unprotected forms or email.

Education versus professional advice

Our lessons are general educational resources. We do not currently provide individualized legal services, formal religious certification, or promises of correspondence delivery.

Corrections & feedback

We aim to correct errors in our materials and seek qualified scholarly review for formal religious instruction. Questions can be directed through our public contact details on the home page.

Milestones before fundraising

Our public readiness checklist is to verify formation; establish governance; confirm applicable tax and solicitation status; open an organizational financial account; adopt financial and privacy controls; and approve a truthful donation statement. Progress will be updated as documentation becomes available.
